Pall’s 0.2 micron-rated sterilizing-grade Supor EX grade ECV filters have been designed for use with a broad range of fluids in biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes. They are capable of filtering the highest volumes of fluid until user-defined process limits of flow rate or differential pressure are reached. Supor EX grade ECV filters are available in single use filter capsule configurations designed to filter batch volumes of 50 L upwards. The filter membrane and pleating technology incorporated into these products deliver excellent capacity for feeds such as cell culture growth media and clarified cell harvest, and high flow rates for low fouling feeds such as buffer solutions for downstream processing, e.g. for chromatography or diafiltration.
